- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vinegar (for glaze)
Instructions
- Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat.
- In a spacious mixing bowl, blend together the ground beef, finely diced onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, a beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Stir the ingredients gently until they’re well combined.
- Mold the mixture into a loaf shape and transfer it to a baking dish.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar. Spread this glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until the meatloaf’s internal temperature hits 160°F (71°C).
- Allow the meatloaf to sit for 10 minutes before cutting into it. Serve warm and enjoy.

- Substitute breadcrumbs with crushed crackers or oats for a different texture.
